Default 2004 XF limited. Innacurate fuel gauge.

Replaced sending unit w/ oem new. Manually moving float arm to full brings tank to 1/2. Any movement from full, and needle drops to empty. Ohm meter shows10 ohms to 900 ohms, rather than the appropriate 50-200. Bad new sending unit?
