Default Temperature Gauge

I own a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire and the temperature gauge on the instrument panel does not work. I would like to have it replaced. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase this gauge and the degree of difficulty in installing it.
Thanks,
Dennis

Is it possibly the sending unit is bad or disconnected? It would be very unusual for the gauge to go bad. To replace it you would have to disassemble the dash and remove the instrument panel.

Have you tried to use an OBD2 reader to see if you can access it that way?

Yes, I would look at the sensor probe that sticks out of the front of the lower grill...on the driver's side...about 75% over from the centerline of the car. 1. Is the sensor there? 2. Are the wires broken behind it?
Seems unlikely that the readout on the instrument cluster would go bad.
Are you getting any readings at all on the instrument cluster for the outside temperature?

Here's a snapshot of my temperature probe:

Which one? The ambient readout or the engine temperature gauge?

The outside temperature; not the engine temperature.
Thanks,
