Default Universal gauge pod fitment?

Anyone used the universal gauge pods for the a-pillar in our cars? I am looking to get one to fit to our pillar but wandering if there is a company that has a better fitting to our shape of pillar. I would like to get one and use some old fiberglassing material to smooth it out and make it look professional but in due time. Just wandering what the best fitting one is to make the process smoother.

Also from what I can see I believe a 2 gauge looks a lot easier than 3 gauge with how short it is unless anyone knows otherwise.

Anything is helpful!
