I need HELP with my R170 not starting
If it doesnt have pre and post o2's the defoulers wont work. They are only for knocking out bad cat codes. The pre's do the fuel ratio. If its just has 2 o2 sensors pre cat then it has no way of knowing about the cats. It probably has mini cats up at the motor and the first o2 sensor set are up there. Im just guessing but I can look it up for you if you want.
I still have alldata software which covers that car.

it has the front o2 but i did not see cats until midway. i will drive it a few days then start putting the Mods on. should be fun!
Mine had 138 downloads which is all the info for the cars.. Battery last forever so once it was at 80 percent I started downloading. took 5 hours.
I think mine was 113 downloads but I wont swear to it. It had to update the main program itself even before those downloads could start.
I let it charge fully as I had other stuff to do. Looks pretty slick. Making the account was the hardest part to get the catcha thing to show its code at the bottom. It didnt like my username and then didnt like the password I wanted etc. The captcha code wont show till its happy with those.

Yes sir you must have fast internet. So have you used it yet? I am going to try it on my 2018 F150 2.7 Twin turbo today, I have a slight miss but no code.
I tried it out on one off my older bmw x5's and it worked fine. The first thing it did was update the obd dongle. I guess it had have power from the obd port of the vehicle to run that part of the dongle. After it flashed the update to it I was able to connect to the car and read codes, etc. The way it displays live graphs made sensor testing a breeze.
Its pretty fast and the coolest thing was saving the information as a report that I could look at in the house afterwards. It was nice not having to screen shot the scan tool with my phone or write down the codes.
