It is a documented fact that pleading, even praying has no effect on the OEM cup holder 
I have NO luck with mine, it seems to like my wife, however.

I would love to take that worthless and broken cup holder out and replace it so if you have any clues on how to do that it would be appreciated...and where you obtained the storage insert.
