Leaving Key in Ignition Switch
It's a wonder there's anybody here considering the condescending replies from some.
OK, I finally got around to it. My standby drain:
I expected someone else to beat me to the punch, the fact no one did is part of why I dont' spend as much time here these days.
- Key not in ignition two minutes after shutting car off - 17mA.

Sorry I was sleeping from my drive back from Florida (all nighter) but anyways, the only time it makes a difference is trying to lock the door while the transponder inside of the antenna ring . Car will not lock for 15-30 mins. ( I tested a bunch of time, why I against placing the Transponder inside for pushstart)

have been leaving my key in the ignition for years n0o dead batt in fob or car,, once i turn the car off i remove the key then stick it back in the ignition, no ding ding nothing i left the V8 car thst way for 2 weeks, got it fired right up.
