Upon starting my 2007 coupe I get a code 168. I cannot find a 168 anywhere on the list of diagnostic codes. Does anyone have a clue?
Not sure if this applies in your case, but when I google PO168 this is what I get ... OBD II error code P0168 is a generic code that is defined as “Fuel Temperature – Too High”,
To reset the oil service reminder on your Chrysler Crossfire, follow these steps after an oil change:
Turn the key to the ON/RUN position.
Within one second, press the reset button by the instrument cluster twice. The present status for days or distance will be displayed (for example, you might see a wrench symbol and -100 miles).
Within 10 seconds, turn the key to OFF/LOCK.
Press and hold the reset button while turning the key to ON/RUN again.
The present status for days or distances will be displayed once more. Continue to hold the ****/button.
After approximately 10 seconds, a signal will sound, and the display will show 10,000 miles.
I'll try reseting the maintenance interval with my 5610 ....
You have a lot of learning about the car ahead of you. The reset of the FSS is done manually as Wadsworth has explained.
P0168 does not apply or exist in the Crossfire or SLK platform, as our cars have no fuel temperature sensor as the designers deemed it unnecessary
Yup, it was the service interval. 168 on the 2007 coupe and 147 on the 2006 convertible. The coupe has only 16,000 miles on it and the convertible has 21,000. Haven't had to deal with the intervals much in the years I've had them and forgot. The Innova 5610 gave me the reset instructions and they both reset to 7,000 miles, not 10,000 as Wadsworth indicated. Thanks guys. BTW, there are DTC codes related to the fuel temperature system, but not the fuel temp itself.

The 10,000 is the number of kilometres before the service. The 7,000 is of course the miles.
I do my oil changes about the 2,000 to 2,500 mile mark. I do not believe this 7,000 mile figure is good for the engine, oil is cheaper than engine wear.

Good to know it's either 10,000KM or 11,000KM between service interval indicators. But mine still reset to 7,000 (miles), not 10,000KM. It reset to 7,000, not 10,000. So I guess I was right you know.
