Something draining battery.
Something seems to be draining the battery. Itll start and run for a bit then die. If the battery gets disconnected it seems to reset. The mechanic seems to think its something to do with the security system. Hes at a loss anyone have any advice or insight??
Remove or replace the alarm siren under the cowl in front of the windshield. The internal batteries leak acid ad short out the circuit board. Clean the drains under the cowl while it is off. The search feature at the top R/H of the login page will give you lots of answers.
I would lean towards the RCM (relay Control Module).
The best thing to do in my opinion is take it to an auto parts store and have them check the electrical system. (Battery and alternator).
If you have someone near you with a Crossfire, you can try swapping it and see if the problem occurs.
You can also pull fuse #9 in the engine fuse box. That will disconnect power to the alarm siren to see if your battery drain starts.
