Probably not covered under warranty.
Do a search, it's been discussed many times.

I just put down some short strips of weather stripping (1/2 inch thick) like used on storm doors. Cuts down on the vibrating noise when I hit a big bump.

Mine (#58520) had some clear plastic strips where the bumpers touch the paint. They have started to dry out, and the dealership is replacing them for no charge. I am out of state, but I will get the part number when I return, and post it here for everyone to see.

Definitely fix the exposed metal as soon as possible.
