This past Saturday I was preparing my 05 for winter storage. I wanted to disconnect the battery as the storage is inside, but not heated as to not drain the battery for 5 months. When I removed the battery negative cable the alarm went off inside the garage which made the noice even loader. I surprised that once the battery was removed the alarm went off. Is that correct?? Thanks

 

The siren has its own built in battery backup.
Try to see if your remote will silence it.
