Our SRT has developed an odd issue..

The interior light doesn't come on when you open the door, also when you leave the car at night the fog lights do not come on for a few mins .. has any one had this experience?

Any fix suggestions?

This light is controlled by the switch above the rear view mirror, it has on `On/Off' (left) and `Off/On' (right) position, if it is in the `On/Off' (left)position the light does not come on when you open the door. If the door is closed you can turn on the light while you are inside and switch it off but the light will not come on when you open the door as you have turned the door entry feature Off. Leave the light in the `On/Off' position all the time and it will work as you want. Strange as it may seem, turning to the `On/Off' (left) position with the doors closed turns it on. If you leave it in the left position and forget it, it turns itself off after 15 minutes. Clear as mud this explanation Eh?

If this does not work, burnt bulb?

As to your other problem I am in the dark as well.

 

Hi Thanks for the info. sadly that's what it used to do.. but now the door light drivers side doesn't come on nor do the fog lights.. I am thinking the control button on the drivers door frame has failed in some way as the passenger door still works
