Default Crossfire cup holder

Hello: I just bought 2004 crossfire with no owner manual. Can anyone tell me if the crossfire has cup holders? There something in the central console which I do not recognize because it stuck in place. Thank you.

Under the SRT6 Forum, you'll find PDF printable versions of the Owner's Manual. And yes, that little thing on top of the console is the Crossfire's excuse for a cup holder. Sorry.

Welcome to the forum; it's an invaluable XF resource, and there are a lot of great people here.

I noticed that you actually started a cupholder thread and a spare tire thread as your first posts.

Congratulations, that has got to be a forum first!

I'm sure that several forum members will take advantage of this rare opportunity.

Enjoy the ride . . . .

Welcome to the Forum, unlike the Roman Forums of old we do not have lions and fights to the death etc, it just seems like it at times.
My reply to your spare tire request follows:

This HAS to be someone yankin' our chain.
What are the odds that a new person's first two posts would be on the spare and the cup holder????

I smell troll.

Next he'll be complaining about the non-tilt steering wheel, leg space, turn signal lever location...

Asking if he can put a supercharger from an SRT onto his NA Crossfire, can he turbo his NA, can he put a manual trans in his SRT.

What else did I miss!?

Thank you for all of those contributed to my threads (spare tire and cup holder), in particular, dwightdmagee, who helped me download the owner manual. It helped to find the cup holder. It is stuck in place and I wonder if anyone can suggest a way to free it. Also, the ash tray has the same problem, stuck and it wont' open. I have been a member of the mercedes forum for many years and now I am enjoying a new group of friends. Thank you again.

Hey zalsaigh yer real! WELCOME! Glad to see you checking in and finding out about your cool car! Hope to "see" more posts from you in the future.

So back to your cup holder problem.

Use a finger and with a bit of force, jab down at the top front of the cup holder. It should pop up!
If you just jab at it, it just stays down.

Did that work???

If you look into my sigline, you'll see that I am a new owner, too. I had the OPPOSITE problem: My cupholder would not STAY DOWN!

I replaced it with the "Storage Bin" from the Basic model - totally happy now!

I can't believe everyone hates the cupholder. I love it. Sure it sucks if you have a foam cup or something that doesn't fit, but bottles and such it holds extremely well.

You people are just too picky.

I think dealerships should make people sit down and read car manuals before they can drive it off the lot. There would be a lot fewer of these.

The cup holder is great in this car! It has one for each seat & I take it with me everywhere I go. It's adjustable for size too. Use it by placing your beverage of choice between your thighs & squeezing very carefully. Ta Da! Cup holder!! Well, better than the one in the center anyway! Do yourself a favor & don't eat, drink or transport food in your car.

I use my "cup holder" to hold my glasses case. Can't put em up on the visor like I do with my other vehicles. Fits perfectly, and they are held tightly. I do like the solution the one post said, replacing it with the bin.

I will keep mine, and oh yeah, Kim, I would not eat or drink in mine either. Only beverage allowed in mine is a cup (with lid and straw) of H 2 ohh (water). If that spills, no problem, especially with heated leather seats!

Lets not forget that is if your heated seats work, then worry about them. I am sure there are quite a few that do not have working heated seats..... I was wondering if you might know where to find a new one? Mine is broken to hell and back. Thanks
