How to Repair Relay Control Module (RCM) - (Mystery no Start)
Thanks for the info. I just ordered the Bosch CPS from Amazon. If that doesn't work then I will check out the fuel system.
Again, thanks for the info.

O, BTW, it's RCM or K40, not PCM .......
I believe DJ always tests his repair in one of his cars before sending back, otherwise I might suspect the contacts on the fuel pump relay.

Yes, DJ does test the RCMs sending them back. I ordered a CPS and will try that along with looking at the fuel system.
If the problem is fuel related, wouldn't the engine still turn over when I turn on the ignition?

I got my PCM back from tighed1 Friday and installed it today. It took about 5 minutes. I am still having the same problem. The car started up and shut off in about 1 second. It did this about 3 times. After about 24 hours I will be able to start up and it will again shut off.

Which is it ?
Just makes you want to skreem doesn't it...
What happens is that it turns over and starts and runs for a couple of seconds, then shuts down and will not turn over any more. Usually after waiting 24-48 hours, it may start up and shut off in a couple of seconds.
My thinking is that if it is fuel related, then the engine would turn over or crank each time the ignition is turned on. After the initial start up and shut down, it will not crank.

Look into the SKREEM Module
It's your anti theft
If someone tries to start the car without the correct key, it will shut it down after a couple of seconds and not let you try to restart.
Instead of waiting a day to try and start it again, disconnect the battery, reconnect and try again. This works for the SKREEM and is a quick test of it. Normally the SKREEM will allow two or three attempts before quitting.
Well, today I disconnected the battery, recleaned the battery posts, took my keys to Advance Auto Parts to have checked. Keys batteries were good; The car started and stop in about two seconds three different times.
My CPS should be in Friday and I will install it this weekend. If it does not start after that, I will have it towed to either Mercedes or Chrysler.
Thanks for all of the support. I really appreciate everyone's input.

NO, not the "wires" but the wire "connectors" are to be removed.
"pull by the wires" means to pull the assembly up out of the big plastic box by grabbing the whole assembly wires and all to get it free, then disconnect the by connectors to free the RCM from the harness.
1) Open the Control Module container box.

2) Push any wires on top of the RCM aside to access the RCM.

3) Grab the RCM wire loom and gently lift the complete assembly out of its nesting hole, tilting the front side up first.

4) Pull the RCM assembly free of the box and other wire harnesses.

5) Disconnect the wire connectors from the RCM. (all are unique, order of disconnect not important)

6) Open and repair the RCM

7) Install in reverse order #5 - #1

Sr., God bless you one million times for this post, after 2 1/2 weeks with no car and suffering asking and searching I founded this post. If wasn't for you i would finished expending hundred or even thousands of dollars because a Chrysler dealership. Thanks again for what you have done and again, God Bless you.
First of all, I would like to say thanks for all of the help I gotten from forum members, but need additional help.
These are the things I have done so far and is still having the no crank issue:
1. New Battery
2. Had the key batteries checked.
3. Had the RCM resoldered.
4. Changed out the CPM.
The next thing I plan to check out is the SKreem. Can I disconnect this unit or take it how and have it checked out? Does anyone have any info on replacing this unit?
Any help would be appreciated.
