stuper01: Please let us know how it goes. I haven't done mine yet -- too many other little things to work on so far.

It works very well though it doesn't have the range of the door openers that came with my door. Programming isn't to difficult as long as you follow the instructions though I did have to "teach" my door motor the new codes, a step I was hoping I wouldn't have to do (Get out a ladder, find the button, etc., etc.).
That being said, it's a snap overall & pretty downright convienient!

This was the FIRST thing I did when I brought my car home.

Totally easy.

Pushed the outer two buttons until the light begins to flash (to clear the memory of all buttons.)
THEN - while holding your existing remote next to the overhead -
Pressed the desired button on the overhead AND the button of my existing garage remote until the light in the remote flashes and speeds up.

DONE! Worked first time! (Unlike my first marriage).

I'm glad you guys had an easy time of it because I tried the day I got my car way back in July of 2005. I think I finally got the damn thing to work in July of 2008. I followed the directions to a letter and could not get it to work then one day it works??
Now if I can only get my wifes car to work, basically the same system, its a Mercedes.

I followed the owner's manual instructions & tried using the learn button on the main unit several times & although everything flashes as it should, it will not open the garage door. There is a note in the manual about Canadian openers? Did anyone else have a similar problem? I have a lift master professional with the purple learn button.
