The car really runs great, the only other thing I did was remove the TB and MAF screens, but I left the screen in the air box cover.
Re: N/A 74mm Throttle Body Upgrade Guide
Has anyone that has done the 74mm upgrade experienced the motor wanting to hold the revs every once in a while?
Every once in a great while, when I am spiritedly driving my 6mt, after I put it into neutral from a relatively high RPM number, lets say 4K, it will begin to drop, but a lot more slowly than it should. This has only happened after I installed the 74mm TB and MAF. Very strange.

I have not had that problem ,that I know of. Haven't driven it alot since making the changes. You might try a "Throttle Reset". You may also want to inspect the throttle body to see if it is dirty. You may need to install an oil catch can if it is real dirty. Thinking about that change myself even though mine appears to stay clean.

Is this with the OEM MAF sensor or the one that came with the larger MAF housing? You may have mentioned this somewhere but I'm too lazy to look back for it. I think I know but please confirm.

I cleaned the hell out of the TB before installing and there is no way that much grime could get in there that quickly when my 50K mile was relatively clean when it came out.
Thanks for the ideas though, always better to have multiple heads on the same issue...

Check for vacuum leaks where the hose slips on , or at the TB gasket, or the elbow gasket. It would run rough if those were leaking though. Maybe the TB has a rough spot in the throat or the T-plate. Rub your finger over the edge of the plate and feel the path of the plate as the plate opens and closes. Be very careful when manually moving the T- plate, so you don't damage the gears in side.

Thanks for the suggestions, as always.
Hey everyone, i purchased the TB and will be doing a video from beggining to end on the installation. Hopefully this will clear any problems or questions. I will also show how to reset.

Alot of people would really appreciate that. Can't wait to watch it, I'm planning on lowering and installing a cold air intake with the 74mm Throttle Body and new plugs all at once hopefully.
Re: N/A 74mm Throttle Body Upgrade Guide
Hate to say it, but if you can lower this car and do plugs, the TB should be a walk in the park, 4 bolts.

Figured since I'm swapping out the sensor.. about all they have to do is get it round and the correct height .. (for the most part..not literally)..
