Default Mutifunction switch Bad? no high beams or rt side turnsignals

I have a 2004 Crossfire that has no right side turn signals and no high beam. I would like to know if you have to remove the steering wheel to replace the multifunction turn signal dimmer switch. I would also like to know why some think you have to replace the headlight switch. thank you PHil

Hiya Phil,

Right now I'm looking at changing my multifunction switch as well. My left turn signals quit working, and my high beams no longer work as well.

Looking at the service manual it seems it is required to remove the steering wheel. I haven't personally read anything about the headlight switch, however.

Here are the relevant pages out of the 3337 page service manual to replace the multifunction switch. The service manual can be found here .

The headlight switch is the central control for all things light related. The fuses for all of the lighting are on the headlight switch inside the removable panel on the left side of the dash.

Nearly a six year old thread but who’s counting.
I would look in the Service Manual and do the switch tests that are described in there, why guess?
Start with the multi switch and then the light switch. Check fuses and bulbs first though.
Problem might be easier to solve if there was a timeline of the light failures.
