Some of these codes can only be read and cleared using the dealers computer. I had one like that on my POS 300. I think it was a transmission code. A U code maybe.

You are a very patient man, you are amazing. I take it that it is still just two weeks away?

180, when you say some of the codes can only be read with the Chrysler code reader, are you implying that others, can be read in anothe manner? Or displayed on the Dash??

No dash read outs on our cars, but you can get various scanners that can read some of codes, like this Can0BD2 scanner that I use.
eBay
I have another unit that gives continuous read outs of the car functions as you drive and can also read and clear codes but
I cannot find it and have forgotten what it's call, Multigage or something like that.

Ok thanks..
The OBD 2 only scans engine codes? Is that right?
I am thinking of getting the DRB III scanner tool as I heard that it can do everything for the crossfire.. I'm hoping that it is true..
I finally received my replacement Bcm today for my central locking problem.. Will install it tonight and hopefully it will fix the issue.. If not then I am for certain going to have to get the scan tool to figure out that issue.. I will post an update on the other thread when I complete the install tonight. Please pray for me lol

Those are not on the DTC list I have. I put "Mercedes P1178" into google (and did that for the other three).
You should try it, it turned up oil level sensor issues on the first two and engine fan control module issues.

Perhaps someone else knows more.....

If it is displayed in the mileage window it is not a code
It means you have 681 miles more to drive until service is needed.
Basically Oil and Filter change

Do yourself a favor and download the free owners manual here in the forum's document collection. It has a wealth of information to help you reset the display (service indication in the mileage window). There is a whole lot of help topics on many things that us owners have found/fixed. These help topics will save you gobbs of $$$$$. Good luck@
