Default Headlight bulbs

Need to replace left low beam bulb. Any recommendations as to which ones to buy, and do I need a different bulb for high and for low beams?
Thanks.

That's what I use, they seem to work no problem. I get them on Ebay and never had any problem

Just be super sure you align the tab on the bulbs correctly. The low and high beam bulbs are 180 degrees apart when placing them into the housing to match the tabs. If they are not seated correctly, you'll never be happy with the light pattern. So, one bulb tab goes north, the other south (in each housing). The other side is the same setup, one goes north, the other south (tab orientation).

.

The tabs on the low beams are at the bottom, that puts the tabs on the high beans at the top.
Lifting the radiator overflow tank from its spigot makes access to the rear of the headlight that much easier.

Great! This all makes it much easier to get it right the first time!

OK...installed new bulbs both sides...low and high beams work, but need major alignment upwards (is this normal?), and now the passing high beam toggling is not working. The forward toggle on the stalk to high beams works, showing the high beam indicator in the instrument cluster, but nothing happens when I pull back on the turn indicator stalk, either high beam or high beam light indicator.
Any thoughts out there?
Thanks
Thomas

So you are saying the high beam flash position on the column worked before but not now? I find that hard to believe. I guess I am misreading your post.
If the lights were OK before the bulb swirch they should still be OK.
Maybe the bulbs are not correctly in position?
