K&N Air Filters
Is possible to send me a link on this site with specific installation instructions? Waiting on a set to arrive for a 2005 limited roadster...any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I would never use a K&N on anything I own. They basically flow a bit better at a penalty of letting a lot more dirt to pass. You will most likely not feel the difference, nor will you detect a mileage increase, but you will allow a lot more dirt into your engine.
Here's a quote from the article:
"Compared to the AC, the K&N “plugged up” nearly 3 times faster, passed 18 times more dirt and captured 37% less dirt. "
Yowza!

I just finished cleaning & re-installing the K&N filters on my 07 Coupe. Original owner installed them. Fairly simple task. Biggest issue is waitng for the element to dry out after cleaning, which I did last night late so they would dry out during the night. Simple install and good for another couple of years, based on my driving habits (~ 3500 miles per year).
And for those interested, the Torx bit neeed for the covers on the filter elements is a T25.
