Default Help!

Does anyone know how to remove the "plastic box" that the ECM AND RCM are enclosed in? I have the brain modules out but I have to lift that plastic enclosure to get at a wire underneath that looks like a rat might have chewed. I see one bolt to loosen on the front of the box but that's it. The thing doesn't budge. How is it afixed? Thanks!

Well, I can see two bolts that go through the firewall (lovely) I noticed that on an eBay ad for the housing. I don't relish going under that dash. Any tips? I already have the other side of the dash pulled out for sticky key and skreem fix.

Do you have a picture of your progress?

I appreciate the reply, Sussudio. When I first posted, I hadn't seen the photo with the bolts going through the firewall. Now it's about dropping the lower passenger dash. I'm hoping the whole damned dash doesn't need to come out. I took photos when I started but none with all the box guts pulled out and the vacuum line detached. At 72, I hate dash dives. I just don't bend like I used to. Thanks again and stay safe. Mr. Max (Jeff)
