Default Ambient outside temperature sensor

Good day guys and gals,
Could someone tell me what colour the wires are that go to the Ambient air sensor.
I had my car in for bodywork repairs and the cowboy ripped off the sensor, threw it away and never mentioned it and left me to pick up the pieces.
I managed to get a new sensor but can`t find the wiring, he`s probably disposed of that as well, cowboy and a crook, dishonest, anyway, any info would be brilliant.
Regards
Teak

PS UK model

On my SRT6 they are green and brown. They lead up and under the headlight into the same harness as the side light.

On my 2005 Limited Roadster they are also green and brown. Here's a photo from this morning and a link back to 2012 on the same subject:

Sorry, didn't notice you said "UK model". Is everything reversed? Is it safe to say "driver's side" to identify where your temperature sensor is located?

"Cowboy"? Hey! I'm from Texas!

If you can find what is the left of the wiring they do sell a pigtail with the original connector at the end so you can put another sensor back.

ZIp439 and Keith" maybe a real cowboy " Texan,lol

Thanks very much for your help, I was unsure if it made a difference from USA to UK model tbh.
On this UK model it's the passenger side.
Getting the wiring colour and location is a big help.

At least I know now what I'm looking for as I have now bought a new sensor.

Thanks again
