Default Crankshaft position sensor replace

It was long time ago I wrote something at this forum, why ? Because my car running well every day I take it out, lucky me ! But this day when we are closing in to the winter and it starts to be cold outside it happened something. The engine didn't start.

I have only started to investigate what's going on, but I'm ptretty sure that it is the crankshaft position sensor that is bad, I have got the error code P0335 and it's a very comon problem.

As usual I collect information about what I do on my homepage:
2005 years Chrysler Crossfire: How to find when the crankshaft position sensor is wrong, page I

I'm not finished yet, need a day with not too cold weather. Wish me luck !

Default Re: Crankshaft position sensor replace

Today, the day after the failure I got fine weather and could continue with the repair of the car. After I had replaced the sensor it started normally but I have only tested it for a short period.

I added two more pages about how I did the replacement:
2005 years Chrysler Crossfire: How to find when the crankshaft position sensor is wrong, page I

It was a bit tricky bacause of the narrow space around the sensor and that I didn't have correct tools.

Maybe to some help for you if you get the same failure.
