Default Help needed

I have looked at the service manual and can't find anywhere that tells how to remove the door lock. I only need to remove the part you put the key into to unlock the drivers door.

Thanks

Thanks James, are you saying the entire lock and handle must be removed to get the lock itself off? My key blade is bad and I was told if I send them the door loch cylinder they can use that to make a new blade.

Couldn't you just use the one from the glove box?

It would be to easy to steal a car if you could easily take out just the lock cylinder.

It is in the manual where they tell you how to remove the door lock actuator on the driver's side and on a post somewhere here. Your remove some of the weather stripping behind the door and there is a hole and you can see a screw in there. Then you need a long 4mm allen wrench and while you are removing the screw you need to be pulling on the lock cylinder from outside door and eventually you will remove it.
