Default Fuel pressure test

Has anyone ever done a video or step by step for checking the fuel pressure?

Yes sir, I guess you are not Pizzaguy on Facebook. Your assistance has always been appreciated. I've owned Crossfires since 2006 and still come across things. This is for one of my Grandsons. They both have Crossfires.

I haven't seen one, but I did measure my fuel pressure on the rail. It's a pretty straightforward process for an NA engine. Remove the vanity cowl. On the passenger side of the engine, front, locate the Schrader valve. Remove the dust cap from the Schrader valve (if it has one). Screw on the fuel pressure gauge hose. I bought a fuel pressure gauge set from harbor freight which worked without any modifications. Just note that as you screw onto the Schrader valve, some gas might leak out. Same when you un-screw the hose. The rail pressure should be on the order of 60 psi. To see if it gets to 60psi, you don't need to start the engine, just turn the key to the ON position. Check if there are any leaks before you start the car (if you want to see the dynamic pressure), address the leaks first if you find any. Then start the car making sure the gauge is in a secure place such that it doesn't fall into anything, or the hose is not going to be rubbed by any belts.
Hope that helps.

the fuel filter/regulator will supply 59 psi of fuel and under full throttle you will get 57 to 58 pst.
on all my crossfires i have replaced the filter/regulator with a manual regulator, and i do not use the vacuum line which increases
psi as the rpm goes up. also if u do install a manual regulator,u must have a return line from the regulator to the tank.
i do this so i can set my psi to the afr's so i get max H p .
