Alen, Re new avatar, I knew Bob Marlay to chat too. I spent just over thirty years working for Island Records, and last month attended a company party with Jane in London to celebrate Islands 50th anniversary

Tonight on BBC4 at 9pm there is a cracking history program of Island and also a follow up program. Well worth a look. I started when Cat Stevens signed to Island and retired during U2's time.
