Aero Mods
Last week's trip to the Ace definitely got my Crossfire juices flowing again, so today I decided to brave the cold and damp and crack on with some aero mods I have had planned for years.
Seeing as the car is still on stands I decided to continue with my spitter/undertray project. The intention is for the spitter/tray to extend rearwards replacing the existing tray, and integrate into the inner arch/brake duct mouldings I made some time ago. I'm then going to make up some functional side skirts which will extend under the floor to smooth out the underside.
I'm still refining the shape but managed to get the basic dimensions and attachment points figured out.

Glad to hear you got the Crossfire Bug again - looks like some interesting experiments going on there! Trouble is once you start you can't stop! I wonder if this is going to end up as the Crossfire MKII !
PS Brugge is booked - 3 going to date!

Been away from doing any of my own body work for years now, but find it interesting you can glass to the bumper cover. Does today's resin flex enough to not crack under the pressure the wind will creat? I did a few vettes when I was a kid, but used all fiberglass to create a whole new bumper cover, never tried what you are doing. Just curious.
