Road tax confusion.

Anyone clear up how much the roadtax is on the xf's, on the autotrader ads they mostly all say £405/435 for the year but then a few websites (link below) say that older models are about half that

Seeing as I'll be looking at getting an 03/53 04/54 plate I'll be happier with cheaper tax....please tell me it is so

straight from the dvla website....up to march 06...£260 per year.....after march you get the higher rate (not sure of the exact date in march 23rd comes to mind) mine is may 07...£445 per year.....

Cheers buddy, that's another saving on my calculations....bloody auto trader giving out duff tax info within the car specs.
Going to view a blue/silver 04 reg, 2 female former owners, full service history, tax & mot till June, priced at 4.4k...if any good might try a sneaky 3.9k offer
