Saved some hard earned cash fitting them yourself

Saved some hard earned cash fitting them yourself
cost me about 25 quid and a couple of hours but i do have a full can of paint left should i need it or any one else needs to do the same they can have a it
got to be honest I'm toying with the idea of fitting these myself - got a few different ideas kicking around for insidfe the cabin.... just need to see how much it'll cost (if I had 2 left tumbs I'd consider myself mechanically gifted!!)
To be honest, it looks like a well executed bit of work. But wouldn't a camera/screen system be more effective and maybe less expensive?
Just curious...

Hi Dave,
If you do this again, any chance you can take photos and do a description of how to get the rear bumper off please, as I'd like to fit sensors to mine.
Recently fitted some Cobra flush ones (BMW/Audi factory look) to my son's Hyundai Coupe and they look great and work really well.
Cheers
Mike

I get what you mean, but whenever I drive a car with a camera I am not comfortable with the distance perspective and always have the sneaky feeling it's going to show me what I've just hit
It does take a bit to get used to the perspective with a camera, I have one on my other car and have found that the old saying of 'objects may be closer than they appear' to be true, you certainly need to keep the speed down when using it.
