Hobbies?
Mine is asleep. I detail it. I play the bass more.
Back on track, I intend to finish a bamboo fly rod, I purchased the blank two years ago and did some work on it, last year nothing.
Handle is done, ferrules are next up for fitting. I have to finish this one as I am using it as practice for a another one.

The most underrated but enjoyable of all hobbies is lounging on the couch.

When I'm not on the couch, I'm shooting my bow, modding the Crossfire, weight lifting, or humping the wife (hot petite blonde).

Well every year since I got my first XF in July 2007 Ive said that I plan to take it off the road for the winter - locked away in a nice dry place. And every year Ive failed misserabley, the thought of not getting my hands that car for 3 months was too much - so its stayed at home living out on the drive. As for salt, well a regular rinse with the pressure washer underneath keeps it fresh and clean, specially under those rear arches and door bottoms. If the car is put into strorage it must be thoroughly cleaned underneath and anywhere where the dirt collects or it will just carry on rotting away inside the bubble or under those blankets.
Collectable ? Naa - I realy wish they would be! XF's will always have their fans though (im one!) just like Capris, but never be worth anything, again, just like Capris!
Of course all cars can become "future classics" so long they last 25years (is it still 25 years?)
To the Cotswolds tomorrow, come, rain, hale, floods, fog or snow - bring it on!

I see you edited your first message, at least it's not quite so aggresive now
As for using the Xfire, well that would be stupid as I have to move 3 cars just to get it out the garage. I, like a few others are in the fortunate position that I can have toys and the Crossfire is exactly that a toy. As Steve said in years to come these will be sort after (who would have thought a Capri would be collectable) and I'd much sooner hide it away in my garage than have some ****** with no insurance slide in the side of it and bugger off.
I can't make the Xmas do anyway, so it's not going anywhere for a few months
I'll probably end up buying a wreck of a bike and rebuild that over the Winter.

Hope to touch base at future meets
