Default Newb

Afternoon all,

Well after pondering for almost a year about parting ways with my Mazda RX8 I decided to give in and try something new. I hadnt even considered a Crossfire as an alternative as I had never actually seen one but when I drove to a dealership to test drive a 350Z there she was....

So a week later I now own a black crossfire coupe and im chuffed to bits!

A few newb type things to ask!

I love the sound of the motor but need more from the exhaust... Any reccomendations? Also induction kits... A waste of time?

And how on earth do you make the interior dash lights brighter???

Hope to meet some of you next year. All the best Ben

Exhaust : Rob has the Magnoflow cat-back on sale at :
MagnaFlow Catback Exhaust System

( he also has the CAI kits )

Dash lights : have you turned them up all the way with the little **** by the speedometer ?

Does getting "chuffed" hurt a lot ?

Ummmm nope I guess I should have read the manual, is it the one on the right or left?

Nothing like a good old chuffing mate!

Yes, I know what you mean about the exhaust note. Changed mine for the Magnaflow system. Totally different sound. If you want to hear it, come around to mine or may be I can meet you.

Cheers
Jon

Another reason why it would be good to have our own UKcrossfire Fourm, as discussed, another consideration for the future.

UKKen.

It was pure joking.... besides everyone's threads get hijacked at some point, your argument is invalid. I personally have had a few of my own twist off to different directions. Why does it matter so much?

Why? You think you're better than us????? lol........... We all love the same car, get over yourselves. UK people ask for help that some of you can't answer, and vice versa. If you really think it's so bad to have "outsiders, interfere" then go start your own website.... Watch how many follow.

personally i dont think it would be a good idea to alienate our friends across the water, they have a lot of knowledge about our cars and we all need some help from time to time...

well the answer is easy - learn to speak English (that being said at least you know the word/phrase 'blokes' so that's a good start - for your homework The Frumps - Gestures and rad the comments lol)

UKKen.
To keep a forum going you need a critical mass, that mass consists of the good, the bad and the ugly. You also need a dedicated team of moderators to keep things on an even keel. If you do not have these elements you are doomed to mediocrity and eventual failure, as you will slowly loose the members one by one.

For whatever reasons the crossfirecommunity.net site went that route. I joined it and soon found it was boring to me so I ignored it.
RIP

The .org site is vibrant and alive, duplicate it if you can.
