Default Another Paint Code Question

I've just done a search on this subject and reading other threads it appears i'm not alone with this one but i'm still no wiser, I have searched all over the car and cant find anything other than the VIN.

I need to order some touch up paint and possibly also a spray can if I decide to do some work on the arch lips myself but I have no idea where the damned code is on the car.

Searching the net in general for Crossfire colours it looks like they did two blues, azure and aero, could anyone tell me which blue this is please? its a 10/2004 car

Thanks guys, I might have been mistaken on the azure blue as I couldnt find reference to it in relation to Crossfires when I searched again.

The puzzler is my car is an 04, October 04 to be precise, all the lists i've found including the one kindly posted by FUBU do not list any blues in 04, the first mention of aero blue (or any blue) is from 05, yet i'm sure there are plenty of other 04's out there in blue.

I tried to order some touch up from my accessory shop earlier today, they kept asking me if i was sure my car was an 04 as they couldnt find a blue listed for 04 either, I even took the guy and showed him the VIN in the end.

I reckon its aero blue, it just seems strange that no-one lists this colour for my year.

All the paint numbers are on this chart. The Crossfire is listed as ZH :

and this list only shows the Sapphire Silver Blue for 04 as well.

This is a UK (Isle of Man) car and if the date the OP mentions is the date of registering then to us in NA it could be an '05 model.

I think that their cars plated in '04 are '04s etc.
Ours can be still '05 models even if plated in '04. The plate stays with the car there.

If it has not got the auto changing rear view mirror it will be an '05 to us, but their cars come with different OEM equipment due to government rules and model year changes may be a bit different.

Thanks for the info guys, the VIN sticker on the door pillar shows manufacturing date 10/04, and the car was first registered in late 04 in the UK, i've changed it to an Isle of Man registration number since I bought the car (we have to by law as we have our own registration numbers and road tax over here)

Mine doesnt have the auto dimming rearview mirror so that matches to 180's point on it being an 05 spec.

Halfords sounds like a good bet but unfortunately we dont have one over here, I will be visiting England soon though so i'll be able to call in and get a can mixed.

Just been for a lovely roof down trip for Sunday lunch and still loving everything about the car

Thanks for the kind offer Dave, i've had a chat with a mate tonight who works for one of our local accident repair centres, he said they only use water based paints at work but has given me a couple of local contacts to try tomorrow, failing that i'll be in touch with you.
