Default Wheel Centre badges

Hi all,

So the badges in the centre of my wheels are quite faded, and I would really like to replace them like for like (don't want different designs etc).

Been having a look around, does anyone know a good place to get the badges? I have found the wheel caps complete with badges which are available from the USA, about £120 for the four. I don't mind the price, but don't really need to replace the wheel cap too?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. FYI... I am not very technologically minded!

Oh, and as an aside, anyone in Hampshire recommend a good company for getting the crossfire waxed etc? Im already obsessed with it haha!

Cheers,
John

You have a member there in the UK : 'dave baker', that I got a set of really nice center cap badges from a couple of years ago.
Why don't you send him a PM ?

Thanks for the prompt replies! I saw those ebay ones, sorry for the stupid question, but these just stick on? I'm assuming the current ones are just stick on too, and I peel them off?

Many thanks
John

John...Just clean the old ones well and stick the new ones on top I've done the same a few time, and never had a problem, and its cheaper than buying the original.

Where in Hampshire are you located? As I'm also a Hampshire man, who's on his third Crossfire.

I also considered expensive OEM badges - if I could find them - but realised it would only be a matter of time before they went all crappy too 'cos they'd presumably still be the same flawed design.
So I used the ebay stick-on ones - nice 'n' easy & look great.
Just make sure the old cap underneath is really clean first and apply them really carefully (bang in the middle) 'cos once they're stuck, they're stuck!
On closer inspection they're not quite up to the original spec. but they do the job very nicely.
Got them on the SRT and PT Cruiser - they've been on about 9 and 4 months respectively - will see what a full winter does to them - but so far, so good.

Hi John I have replaced the badges on both my Crossfire's wheel centers, I bought them off e-bay for about £20 quid , you carefully prize the old one's off then clean the backing with white sprit. Very easy. Then stick the new gel ones on, about a 20 mins job. I am well pleased with the new ones, Thanks. Paul.

Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated, I love this forum!

Have ordered a set off ebay, can't wait for them to arrive, its making me sad to look at the old ones.... one on the rear right is already peeling off in anticipation haha!

I'll post some photos once I'm done, if I don't *£%@ it up of course!!

Oh and UKKen, I'm in Fareham.

John
