Angry Convertible top stuck half open

While cleaning the inside of the soft top on my crossfire I left the top in the vertical position to aid access. I removed the key to suspend the opening operation. Now the top is stuck in the vertical position. The switch to open/close the top is flashing but I cannot open or close the roof. Has anyone experienced the same problem if so what is the solution.

I had that happen to me once too. If you leave it in a partial position too long ( @ 20 minutes or so ) the pump will drop all pressure.
What I did was to manually finish the top open process by placing the top in the well, then closing and locking the tonneau cover.
When I then switched the ignition on again, the button was no longer flashing, and the top worked normally.
Hope this helps.

Yea, the top's electric system is not designed for doing what you are doing.

If you want to play around with the top in an "in-between" position like that, do it manually.

Maybe this helps:

Here we have the classic question, is it stuck half open or half closed? Hmm.
Follow the advice above from the two pros and you'll be OK.
