I'm in for the 26th and the trip up the coast sounds better then driving the 5 to Oceanside. But then I am flexible and will take whatever direction the group wants to go.

2. PaleXFire ( )
3. Brian Sutton ( )
4. SRT SIX ( )
5. Z28toXFire (S)

I've never been north on PCH, just south through Laguna and San Clamente..

so if you guys say North is a nice drive I'm down for that..

I graduate from Pepperdine University on April 26th. Oh well, we'll have to do another one soon!!
Then I say we head north and all honk in unison as we crest the hill on PCH at Pepperdine. Congrats on earning your degree, that's great!!

OK guys, since so many are waffling on which way to go, I'm going to strongly suggest we head north. Heck, even Brian Sutton suggested this and he lives in San Diego. He mentioned that the coast road is a PITA on the weekends down that way.

We have two options for a northbound run - either all the way up PCH which might bet a bit congested around Long Beach and beyond, or take PCH to Long Beach then jump on the 405 to the Marina FWY and into Marina Del Rey, picking up the coast road in the MDR/Venice area. We could probably grab lunch in the Marina or Venice and then take the beautiful drive further north through Malibu.

Doing PCH to Long Beach first might take up quite a bit of time though so we might be better off just getting straight onto the 405 and heading right to Marina Del Rey.

So I'm pushing for north.

Mike,

I'm new to this forum and would like to go and meet people with SRT6's. However, not sure on your location. I live in Burbank...can you give me more information for the 4/26/2008 meeting? Thanks.

DJWB.

Very interesting results... I lost power but dynoed at 294 STOCK (corrected) 302 (uncorrected) only other mod is K&N filters which equates to 355-365 hp to the fly

I've got a couple of thoughts on the north bound trip:

First off, palexfire, we aren't going THAT FAR NORTH!!!

Plan A: We'll be leaving C & C at 9:00AM and head to the PCH in Laguna Beach then turn north, we would be in the Seal Beach/Long Beach area by 10:30 or so which is too early for lunch. If we they jumped on the 405 north we'd get to Marina Del Rey around 11:30 and could grab lunch somewhere in or near the marina (eatery suggestions are welcome).

Plan B: If we skip Laguna and PCH north from there and just get right on the 405 from C & C we would get to MDR around 10:00 or so, and into Malibu closer to lunchtime (again, eatery suggestions welcome at this point). After lunch we could then head up PCH as far as Point Dume or beyond, or even cut off one of the canyon roads that will take us to Mulholland and then head over to the 110 and head for home. Or whatever. Suggestions for nice roads in this area, and I know there are plenty, are also welcome.

I would suggest Plan B but I don't have any suggestions for where to eat, and I know there are plenty of great roads up that way as well, but it's been a loooong time since I've been up there. I'd rather not totally wing it, but I'd not completely averse to just seeing where the road takes us.

Discuss.
