Default Dealer Support Arizona

Hi. I am new to the Forum. I have a 2007 coupe and since I live in Flagstaff I only drive my car in the summer -- April thru November. Well I noticed the red puddle under the passengers side so I need to bring it in for some work.

Does anybody have any suggestions on the quality of the work, etc. at Airpark, Ed Moses or the dealer in Prescott? Thanks. Hope to meet some of you in the comming months.

Airpark has been good to me in the past (fog lamp warranty replacement was the last thing they did) and the service manager used to own a Roadster 'til she got grandkids and had to get something bigger! They are now in a different, larger location right on Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. as they combined with a Dodge dealer.

I'll second the recommend for Airpark...been taking my 300C and SWMBOs Crossfire there ever since we got them.

(Note that they recently took over the Ed Moses Dodge location and are now up on Frank Lloyd Wright)

RoadsterinAZ. Welcome, we have a very substantial crossfire population
in AZ. We are planning a hook-up in May. Check it out. It is the White Sands Hook. We always have a blast.

Thanks for the invite...and I love that part of New Mexico (try dinner at sunset on the steak joint that overlooks the mall in Las Cruces...by the Hilton, IIRC). The space museum in Alamogordo is very cool (the docent the past few times I was there was a Navy frogman and rescovered most of the Mercury/Gemini/Apollo astronauts...very interesting guy), and White Sands National Monument is very cool as well.

That weekend is a Scout campout, and I'm still the Scoutmaster until after the summer, so I'll have to pass. (We are planning on taking the troop to White Sands and Carslbad Caverns on the way to summer camp in Texas this summer).

Maybe next time?

Thanks,

John

John, thanks for the tips. I have only cruised through Los Cruzes on way to Ruidoso. Keep looking here and on the other site for hook-ups.
crossfirecommunity.net. I think we had four hook-ups last year. They are in my signature. Touring Barry goldwaters place was really cool.

I live in Munds Park, but I'm rarely in Arizona. When I needed to service the X'Fire, I found that the closest dealer (with a Crossfire trained mechanic) was Oxendale Chrysler in Cottonwood.

Oxendale Chrysler
792 E. State Route 89A
Cottonwood, AZ 86326

They only did an oil change and replaced a switch for the convertible top, but that work was OK. I've been to a couple of dealers who don't have the chip to be able to read the X'Fire computers, (including the one I bought it from) so ask that question before you take it in.

Naughteven, how much did they charge for the oil change? Also
please join us for the White Sands hook-up in May. They are always
a blast.

BTW - Welcome Another AZ Crossfire

As I recall, it was $85.00 - $100.00, and they used 10W - 40W, fully synthetic oil and whatever filter they stock. That's about the same price I was going to pay in Terre Haute, IN (at the only qualified Chrysler Dealer in western IN north of Vincennes), so I wasn't as particular as I would be in an area that has a lot of service available. One of the Forum members in Vincennes races her car and has a Mercedes trained mechanic she knows who services X'Fires in the area. I'm going to use him for my future oil changes and non warranty work.

I would love to go on some of the Arizona meets, but I'm normally 1,700 miles away from them. The current project I'm contracted for will be 3 years in duration and that pretty much limits me to the Midwest. When I'm in Munds Park for any duration, I'll make a point of contacting Hawk Monster and any one else in the Flagstaff area for future activities.
