My steering clunk went away when making turns and going over little bumps on the road. Love how the steering tightened up.

Ok guys got a little problem installing mine... it appears the bolt on the drivers is in the wrong direction and I can't get it out past the steering linkage

Wow, I actually contributed something GOOD!!!
I'll be changing mine every 15,000 miles. For $30, why not.

Replaced my Steering Stabilizer it took less then an hour.
This should be listed as a required replacement and it was very easy to do!!
I agree with NeverEnough 15,000 miles maybe the right mileage for replacement.
Make sure you give the steering wheel a ½ turn CCW to place the linkage clear of the bolt at one end of the stabilizer.
You will need a 16mm socket and a 16mm wrench or crescent wrench on one end to loosen one nut and bolt assembly. Jack up the car and the stabilizer is right behind the engine cover pan.
When the old stabilizer was out I would describe it as follows:
Old stabilizer was ½ pound required to move. Easier then a screen door!!
New stabilizer was 40 pounds required to move.
Here is the link shown in earlier posts with the part number. They shipped quick and the price was $30.00 with shipping:

Wow, I'll wait a little longer before replacing mine since I only have 5500 miles and the steering still feels ok. I wonder if it is actually better than the stock unit to last longer. You would think there would be others that cost a little more that lasts a very long time. Sounds strange to have to replace them so often. I'll have to search around. Thanks for the post!

I replaced mine the other day. As mentioned, it is very easy to do, just make sure you turn the wheel so the bolts will come out. I can't say I noticed a huge difference, but my car did have over 30k, so it was probably ready for the replacement.

I don't know, I just replaced mine and I can definately feel the difference. The steering is tighter and more responsive!

The note you've received from USPS means that a postage label has been printed for the item, but at the current time they do not have it registered in their system. I occasionally ship items, and I print postage labels at home through USPS - when you print the postage label you get a tracking number, which you obviously have. When I do a search on a tracking number I've just created it gives me the message you're receiving.
This could mean a few things:
It's still sitting at the vendor's in a box.
It never made it to the USPS facility - various reasons - 'borrowed' by USPS worker etc.
In my opinion you need to call the vendor and 'suggest' they send out a replacement, unless they have a good reason not to.
