Replace your Steering Stabilizer, you'll be surprised.

I think I know what clunk sound you guys are referring to, I heard it today when backing up. I guess I'm gonna have to do this after all. Great first project.
I noticed while doing some back-road cruisin'
this weekend that my steering felt...really easy I guess is the way to describe it? Very little resistance to turning. Is this a fair guess as to what to do about it?
don't know for sure Max...mine would follow the rutted out road, put new stabilizer on just before the dragon, car track straight down the road...drove like a new car...
Hi All,
Just want to let people know I have a problem with "Joe TLC" and they won't communicate with me. I ordered a stabilizer and didn't get it. On the search page for JT Outfitters ( same people) @ bottom is link to a customer who has a similar problem buying thru EBay. Just a heads up!! Way too many scams!

I wish people would leave my car alone!

Thanks for the heads-up.

Thanks.
I got mine from JT Outfitters. But I have been sitting on it since Sept 1. I ordered it on 8/26 and it shipped to me on 8/27.

Thanks, Mike.
I just checked my order on-line and it says "Shipped" with a USPS Priority Mail tracking number.
At least it LOOKS like it's on the way.
Any more/better descriptions on how to remove the pillar cover? From the weatherstripping side first? Top first? Anything for a pal?
Thanks in advance!
This is what a forum should be like. Just folks helping and no whining.
If you have to vent-get a therapist!

I am not mad about the wait it's that these guys have **** poor communication. I wouldn't buy from them again.
hey Max, I got mine within a wk...so, hope they were in stock...that seems to be their problem...but, I am sure you will get it...I sat on mine until I did the brake job...I don't know how long they will last, but it does make a big difference...I am buying another to put on the parts shelf for the future...
When did this happen? I can't seem to figure that out in your posts.
Thanks, I'm stupid and lazy. But honest!

I got it three weeks after I ordered it.

Same as above, buddy.
I just ordered mine tonight.
I have 38000 miles on my 04 Coupe so I'm sure I need a new one.
Looking forward to a more stable steering on those roads with the ruts in the lanes especially.
Thanks for this thread.

Hey Gary if you need help with switching it out lemme know, I can come by and help you out or do it for you if you'd like. It was a snap job and fun to do as a first mod for my car!
