Stock valve stem cap...
Hey guys,
I bought a used 2005 chrysler crossfire mid-June. It has a few dings and scratches on it that I'm going to repair once it cools off a little here in South Mississippi, but I also noticed after I bought it that one of the valve stem caps is missing. Is there anywhere I can buy one of them without paying an arm and a leg for it? It's just a tiny piece of metal, but I know if I go to the dealership it's going to be 25-50 bucks for it.

As mentioned in a previous thread...
Spin-Caps are an excellent answer!!!
I have them and they look great and won't get stolen very easy.
Cheers!

Be careful with what you buy.
My buddy bought a set of AMG valve stem covers that we had to grind off after they fused themselves to the valve stem.
We ended up breaking 1 valve stem, and thus he needed to replace the TPMS as well. It was an expensive lesson.

are you talking about the valve cap cover thing that screws on the valve that you put air into your tires? if so-- they are made out of aluminum. while they may look good, they can get stuck to the valve( aluminum on aluminum) and can be really hard to get off. I think the guy at the dealership called it oxidizing. not positive. so i replaced mine with rubber.

TPMS doesn't seem to know the difference.
By the way, THANKS MMZ!
Cool stuff.

Do the spin caps fit on the stock valves? Do you need any other part with it?

A (ONE) key is provided for your keychain. Extras are $2.95 each.
I ordered an extra.
Ok, so pardon my confusion please. From what I've read on their website (http://spin-caps.com/page/ndo5/FAQs.html) the spin caps are made from aluminum but no one has any oxidizing issues with the TPS stems? And has anyone tried the XL's? Thanks
