Is there anything to be done about this?

The surface coating seems to be peeling off around about 50% of the outer rim.

I just got the car so I don't know what it's gone through. It's just on one wheel.

 

I thought I saw a post about this awhile back. It seemed to be a warranty item.

I don't see what year Crossfire you have. It might be under warranty. It looks like the clear coat is coming off, maybe the previous owner used too harsh a cleaner on it. Good Luck. Let us know how you make out.

Might be an excuse to buy some new after market wheels.

 

That plus you could see about having these for repainting and/or using as winter rims if you're in an area that needs em.

 

This happened to every one of my wheels and they were all replaced under warranty.
