AVAILABILITY UPDATE: Whoa! $115.99 Michelin - 255/35X19" Pilot Sport PS2 at Costco
I'm not a fan of threads that get too long. So I thought I'd start a new one about the deal I located.
As of this morning at 8:57am PST, they are back on the site. What I know about corporate websites is that they typically use load balanced clusters of web servers and database servers. This way there is redundancy and servers can go offline for maintenance or backups without affecting user access.
Members have noted that it was "pulled" from the site shortly after my post. Then others reported that it was back, then gone again.
It could be that in the evening hours we are hitting a different webserver/database server and that's why the tires aren't there sometimes.
For anyone still intrested, go to http://tires.costco.com and drill down to Crossfire to locate the tires. But again mornings seem to be the best time to find them at the bargain pricing.
And I'm picking up my 2 tires from Costco this afternoon!
Michelin - Pilot® Sport PS2™
$115.99
Shipping & Handling, Mounting, Balancing, Lifetime Services, Nitrogen Inflation, New Rubber Valve Stem, Environmental Tire Disposal, and the Costco Road Hazard Warranty.

I bagged two yesterday but I'll believe it when they turn them over. I plan to store for awhile and install later - I'm evenually after summer and winter tires & rims. Hopefully they'll give me the tires and 10 dollar credit because they are not installing.
Checking link today they are not there. Now I just need to find teh front 18" diameter tires at this price.

Picked mine up this afternoon. They are the real deal. I told him I was just picking them up, and he noted on the slip to install later. He even put them in plastic bags. The guy didn't even notice the price, just pick and load. It is real.

Hey Cruzin....which Phoenix area costco did your tires get shipped to? Mine are supposed to go to the Avondale store. I called yesterday and was told they had shipped but were not in yet but they would call me when they came in.

Well, Sometimes something too good to be true really can be true.
Humm, maybe that inheritance check from my dead relatives who died in a plane crash in Nigeria will be arriving ...
Alas, Winter is rapidly approaching in Colorado, and mounting these tires now would result in a disaster, so they will spend the Winter in the basement.
From what I read about Crossfire performance in the snow, my Black Pearl will be spending most of it in the garage.
Now, I have to find a good deal on a matching set of Summer tires for the front.
Any suggestions? And, does anyone have any experience with "non-matching" tires on the front and the rear?
I'm currently running the "optional" all-season Conti's all around, but they leave a lot to be desired.
My major complaint is that they Track and wander on the roads which have been grooved.
ie they follow the groves in the concrete. Scary..
Thanks for the heads-up on the tire deal. It made the decision as to which Summer tires I'll be buying easy, and economical..
