That was a good catch on your part. I would have felt silly if I had got to the track and someone pointed it out to me. Thanks!

You and Steve need to make a road trip down here and go to the track with Buggin and I. Buggin has a silver SLK32.

Haha no worries man. Glad I could help. I was over at Steve's this morning, we were both bragging on yours looking good.

I'm prettuy sure I met Buggin at the last drag event back in October. He's a cool guy and was trapping very consistently in his 32. He's a taller guy, right?

Ummmm.... I wouldn't really say he is tall. He is in the Air Force, and a slender guy. I looked, and I don't have a pic of him. Here is a pic of his car from the Atl tune day:

Steve pm'd me earlier and said that you and 13Dog were over doing some work on the cars. Hey, can't beat a day hanging out with car guys. I hope everything went well.

Oh, and thanks for the compliment on the car. There is still so much I want to do to her. Too bad my wish list exceeds my disposable income. LOL! I guess that keeps it interesting when you have to do it slowly over time. Dang.... I just don't have patience.

That looks like the car that was there that night. And 'tall' is a relative term for me because I'm 5'8"

Yeah we had a wrench day @ Steve's, it was a good time. Met thirteendog for the first time, he's a cool guy. They did all the wrenching, I showed up for moral support and wheels in case a parts run was needed (it was lol).

I feel your pain on the patience issue with the car... I've got some NEAT things planned for the alabaster but I have some priorities to take car of first on it. Still need to get the B-Service completed and then it'll be playtime, starting with either the suspension or some minor intake work. Flipping a coin on that one, as either will yield noticeable and positive results. Then there are the cosmetics... clear corners coming very soon among a host of other things.

These cars are too much fun, I'm having a blast.

john that was 240quicker (steve johnson) you met at the track from birmingham. he has a silver 32 but its a stocker.
buggin(alan) whopped my time slot for dragtimes by .2 so far and he's shooting for the #2 slot! his 32 is super quick and pulled bigger #'s than mine at the dyno session.
alan and bob have that unfair advantage we all want.... a track 20 mins. away!!!!

Not only that.... But it only closes for @ 6 weeks out of the year. Mid December to the end of January. LOL But, on the down side, they always have shitty track prep for T&T. Maybe my new DR setup will overcome the track prep. We will see next weekend. Did I tell you that the track opens next weekend.? LOL You need to bring the Tennessee crew down for a weekend and we will make a party of it.

With you wanting to drive them to the track, I would think that MT ETs would be your best bet. I will let you know what I think of them next weekend. The Hoosiers are 7 lbs lighter each, which does make them tempting.

I have seen that before. I really do not think I will have any traction problems with the MTs, but if I do, I will definitely give that a shot. If 8 sec. cars can snap rear ends with these tires, I should be fine. LOL Thanks for the link.
