Thanks for the good info on the tires.

225/40 18" front
18 x 8 TSW Snetterton Chrome Rims 32 offset

275/35 19" rear
19 x 9.5 TWS Snetterton Chrome Rims 20 offset

Be sure to post some pics when you get the new shoes and socks put on. Those Snetterton's are going to look awesome on your roadster.

The Snettertons are probably my favorite wheel from TSW. Truly some classic lines...

Gary, I got the rims and tire installed today at Discount Tire. I really like my new Hankook's and they look very good on my Crossfire.

Question re: Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110

[quote=VALKRYDERGUY]Got them mounted today !!!
Awesome Tires
I went a bit bigger on the rears.... (285/35/19)
I kept the stock size on the fronts (225/40/18)

dude

WTF ive just called my local hankook dealer here in South Africa and was told that hankook no longer make that tyre size. not only that if he can find me sone im looking at about $815 each rear tyre. my Conti have 1/4 life left but i want new puppies to punish. i cant beleive they wont get some.

pirelli have a tyre for me though at $725 so looks i might go that route.

does you comfort level over small ruts and bumps improve having the bigger tyres on or much the same ?????????????

when it rains we can go fishing in the pot holes this side

I hate to keep beating this dead horse...but I am needing tires soon also. Hankooks...my SRT6 stock rims wheel fit the 295/30/19 correct? I like the low profile look to my tires preferbly the front. Is it the lower the number the lower the profile vice versa?

update: So Im in the Tirerack shipping cart and the 295/30/19 is saying this...The following tire you have selected has a higher load rating than the vehicle's Original Equipment (O.E.) tires.

According to this calculator: Wheel / tire size calculator / comparer - WWW.RIMSNTIRES.COM, you do not want to put a 295 tire on a 9" rim. My rims are 9.5" and is the smallest recommended rim width for a 295 tire. You can go with a 285/30 on a 9" rim. The diameter of the 285/30/19 is 25.8"... so real close to our stock 26".

As for the load rating message, Tirerack actually called me saying the same thing. I told them that it was OK, go ahead and ship them. I haven't had any problems with the higher load rating.

Hey Valk,
Great looking setup. Like it so much, I've decided to go the same route, only I'm gonna try the Conti DWS. The 285s have slightly wider tread width @ 10.6 compared to the 9.8 Hankook, with both having 11.6 section widths. I'm also thinking that going with 235s up front will level the XF a little better. I read through all the fitment threads and got mixed thoughts about the front fitment. Any particular reason why you stayed with the 225s?

FYI...joined C.I.C.C.I. last week!

285 30 19 fit nicely - that is what I am running.
slightly shorter about 1/4" less than stock but almost 1.25" wider.

Rides better - but are not quite as grippy or as stable as some other tires.
A great choice for "normal" use.

First of all thanks for joining CICCI
As far as going larger on the front I just wasn't sure what would fit and not give me any issues with rubbing.
I also like the rears bigger and the fronts stock for the overall look
It make the back ones stand out better.

I just put Hankook Evos on as well. Much improved over the stock all season Conti's which we all know are garbage . The price is a bargain and I won't feel bad driving them hard. I went with 235/40/18 front & 275/35/19 rears. They went on easily with no bulging past the rim.
