Default Tire leak Question

Question : I have a slow leak in one of the front tires. Put air in about every two weeks. Probably leaking around rim. Don't want to take it to the dealer or local tire jockeys as they might mess up the electronics. Would Fix-a-Flat be a good idea? Don't want to use up the factory supplied sealer for something simple. Any suggestions? Thanks Ken

I'd take it to a tire shop. Fix a flat is only good for emergencies and will throw off the balance.

Fix a flat is a good temporary fix. Sooner or later yer gonna have to take it to the tire place and they aren't gonna be too happy about all of the crap inside of the wheel/tire.

Get it fixed.

Take it to a good tire shop and have them put some tire sealer on the rim when they remount the tire. I had this same problem about a year ago. I have not had any problem since. It has to do with our tires and rims. If that does not work you may have a bent rim. Can you say pot holes?

You may also have a cracked rim. Better to find out the easy way. Do not use fix-a-flat unliess it is an emergency situation. That crap sprays an adhesive inside the tire, and centrifical force spreads it all over the inside of the tire. It makes a mess that you will have to deal with in the future.

I used it one time and it did make a mess and it can screw with the TPS in some instances if it gathers around it ... so don't leave it in too long , "I'M JUST SAYIN "
