I am still voting that something is wrong with the pads/ install. The problem is that nothing makes sense, especially since the the 2 old pads I got back where 1 5 dot and a 1 dot...So completley different heights.
Yeah, I think Eibach's are also longer than stock N/A springs....Or am I wrong?
I just came back from measuring the fender-rim distance and to my surprise the springs have settled a bit (about half an inch) See the picture and compare it to the distance in post #12 (so from 5" to about 4 1/2").

yeah, the akebono pads look pretty good, especially since they also come with the wear sensors. I need new pads and I was thinking changing them anyways.
They look pretty decent. Are they any good when it comes to stopping power? Cause on Tirerack.com they only get 3 out of 5........

So there are some news.
Went back to the shop where I bought the springs from and got them installed.
The shop manager has been dealing with Eibachs for a long time and he said what happened in the past was that they sometimes got wrongly compressed springs, leading to the car not dropping or being raised.
So I went to my sales guy and told him to call Eibach and get this figured out. He ended up leaving a message in the Research and Developement department of Eibach and we are waiting for them to call us back.
God its complicated^^
If Eibach will sent new springs, they will also have to pay for the install, am I right? I mean it is their **** up.....Or?
Why does this always happen to me.....

Here is a small update,
after pressuring my sales guy at Vividracing, he finally reached the distributor of Eibach and opened a file case after 1 1/2 weeks.
Whats happening now is that they ordered the H&R springs, we are waiting for them to come in and the the springs will be switched and the Eibach's will be sent back and I'll receive a credit from Eibach which will cover the H&R's.
I'm pretty happy about his because from what I've read the H&R's drop lower and are better for the track because they are not that soft........Hope it works this time

Just my two cents here...
Control arm attachment bolts are suposed to be tightened to torque specs with the cars weight on the wheels and the suspension under compression.
If things are tightened up while the car is up on a chassis lift and the suspension at full droop the bushings could bind and that may explain the higher ride.
I've made this mistake myself on another car and ended up replacing some prematurely trashed bushings!
Loosen and re-torque with the car's weight on the suspension...
Cheers!

Thanks for all the input.
But I have the car back now from the shop since yesterday with newly installed H&R's and the car sits much lower front and rear and will settle even more
Looks like it really was the springs this time. So happy it finally worked. Just looks so much better!!

haha.
Unfortunately I will wait like a week or so before taking pics., to give the springs time enough to compeltly settle. Because I know that someone will say: "They should be lower for H&R's"

The rear is really low now, just waiting to see how much the fronts come down. The Eibach's settled 1/2" after a week, don't think the H&R's will go that low, but lets wait and see

The amusing part of this story is how the shop that did your suspension kit delivered it to you jacked up about 3 inches in the air. It's as if they couldn't have a manager do a final inspection on the car and say, "hey, you guys totally f***ed up here..."
I know how the stock springs feel, I know how the Eibach's feel ..... tell me all about your impressions with the H&R's. I'm looking for a more performance oriented spring.

"Performance" wise I can only say that in corners, it feels like the front end does not "dip in" as much as before, which I think is a good thing. But thats my experience after only 2 days......
