Do you have your 285/30/19's on those wheels?

285/30/19 on the rear, 225/40/18 on the front. No rubbing whatsoever under sane driving conditions.
The slight increase in wheel width was just what the doctor ordered for these tires... my ONLY complaint to date was the transient cornering response was a bit less than the Michelin PS2... the wider wheels seem to have stiffened the sidewalls just enough to make cornering a "sure-footed" affair once again.
And the wheels are much lighter than I initially gave them credit for. The drive to work was a learning experience, as the 1st-2nd-3rd gear dig was MUCH quicker. Cornering feels a hair lighter as well. At 80, a slight roll of the throttle brings me quickly to 90 with no downshift.
I weighed my OEM wheels, and they were 29/34, F/R respectively. The new ones (per manufacturers specs) are 24.8 and 28.2... so, a five-pound decrease of spinning mass per corner.
Thanks for all the positive comments guys, means a lot!
John -- We mod in a similar fashion: as much as possible, without detracting from the look of perhaps being OEM...
Next in line is the Jay Leno mod, and then I'll be done with the aesthetics for now... Window tint is a must but I don't really consider that a mod per se...

Nice, I was definitily looking at these as everyone had millenniums, and I liked the bigger spokes. I was thinking about getting them in 19and20's and powdercoating them matte bronze. But now you got them and I cannot get the same wheels as someone else haha. I have a new five spoke in mind that Im pretty excited about...
I like. They weren't out yet when I went with Milleniums. Would have made for a tough choice.
It may seem like we all have the same wheels but I have never seen, in person, another set of Milleniums. Last year at the Dragon I did spot about 3 other flavors of Mandrus, but none were Milleniums.

what the heck is the Jay Leno mod?
You getting a garage to keep her in? (hopefully along with Kim's 325i)
These look great, thanks for all the info! The stock set that came with my car had some rash and one front had the paint defect. I got another stock set off the boards for winter and found out the fronts were bent after air was leaking out of the sides slowly. Been looking for a set I liked ever since but I didn't want to hurt performance as most wheels with our stock sizes end up heavier. This looks like a great option by being lighter than stock and not having to break the bank for a full custom set. These may be in my future although I may want to get them done in the stock silver all over for my black ride.

I didn't even notice that you wrote that it resembles the renntec monolites, that is exactly what I was thinking when I saw them. How did you lower your car anyway I just noticed that it looks lower than other eibachs? again, looks so good!
Still thinking hard about these, any more pics? I'd love to see a shot of the back directly from the side. I feel like even though the back tire is essentially the same measurement it still looks thinner than stock.
Durdness: Think he's running cut SRT springs? Want to say I remember that from a dif thread but not 100% sure.

The difference in sidewall height vs OEM is less than .1" on radius... or less than a 1/4" overall diameter. Even though math would say otherwise, the speedo is spot-on at 80mph according to the roadside radar photo booths
Cut SRT springs is correct. Love, love, love them.

I finally bought a new set of wheels.
I went with the Mandrus Wilhelm, in staggered fitments similar to OEM.
Pros:
- Classy, ten-spoke design reminiscent of the RennTech Monolite
- Subtle lip depth, front and rear, gives only a slight hint of appearing afermarket... not a loud shout
- I wanted a compromise between the seven spokes of the limited, and the fifteen of the SRT
- I wanted the fitment to be as close as possible to OEM without using spacers
- Being the newest wheel from Mandrus, the design is fresh
- 1,950lb load rating
- Mercedes-specific application means I won't be seeing these on a Hyundai
- The shallow lip allows for more clearance for larger calipers, than comparable wheels with bigger lips with same offset... this will come into play for future mods

- Too-good-to-be-true pricing ($1,000 shipped)
- Weight is only a few pounds lighter than OEM... no massive weight savings. Not a recommended track wheel
