Hancook Veritus Tires?
Re: Hancook Veritus Tires?
By the time we processed the order, there was only one tire available from the three last night.
I got it.
Now the Connecticut. Distributor will ship it to the Retailer in Southern CA. He in turn will ship it to me here in St Louis.
So the tire will have 5,000 miles on it before I even see the thing
Then I can take it to my retailer.
Hell I might have five K on it's mate by then

Re: Hancook Veritus Tires?
Well, I put the last known General Exclaim 19" on the left rear last Tuesday nite. Made quite a difference having matched tires on the back again.
I could turn the TC back on.
Based on the advice I read here the Hankook got the go for Crumpy's SRT. Hope to have them in and on before the Dragon. Her G Force TA's from BGF Goodrich were getting bald and showing stress/age cracks.
Full set hankooks mounted,,,,A bit under $900.00
I have the Dunlop winter tires on the rear but that is the "spare set" for winter driving. I hope the TPMs from the old wheels still work. It would be nice to have that damm light shut down on the dash.
Thanks for all the advice guys.
And MIMI05SRT6....I owe ya.

Re: Hancook Veritus Tires?
Kim and I took a right hand hairpin the other night at an estimated 45 mph with a posted 25 mph. Her roadster wears 285/35/19 Hankooks on the back, our SRT wears 255/35/19 Nankangs(crappy tires). She was on the outside in the roadster, I took the inside line with the 6. Before we hit the apex, my rear was trying to get a closer look of hers. Width difference aside, her tires are much "gummier" and gave a more controlled turn. They are already slated to be put on "the fast one" as she would say. It'll either be 285/35 or 295/30 19s on the back and 245/35/18s up front.
Re: Hancook Veritus Tires?
Just slapped a pair of 275/35R19 on the rear. Funny thing, tho, the tech had pumped those babies up to 40PSI and boy, what a ride. The braking bar down the middle of the tire seemed to grab every track in the road and pulled the back end around like you would never believe. No wonder they call it fishtailing.
Dropped 'em back down to 33 psi and things straightened out just fine. But the Hankooks DO grab the road.
BTW: Since everyone is buying these cheap Asian tires, don't want to hear anymore moaning about how American jobs are going overseas. Because this is why.

If you want it to grow here, give it a reason.
