Before and after lowering my car I could get -2º on one side but only -1.6º on the other. I installed the crash bolt on one side to have -2º on both sides. With the offset on my Forgestars I can get -2.3º. I know your trying to adjust the opposite direction than me but I want to share anyway.

You were the one who finally got them? I watched that for a while, with him steadily lowering his price, by the time I rechecked, SOMEONE had bought them the day before, now I know who

I'm glad he had to give them away. I offered $400 shipped and he said no.

I don't like the "to the highest bidder" type seller. He came back and offered them to me but I decided I'd rather pay full price than be his latest highest bidder. I can't remember him doing anything to **** me off but the bad taste was enough. I'm interested in the Kmac's because they're poly, I already have my camber where I want it.

Well guys i picked up my car this evening after work and drove it home .. (i will post up the finnal numbers tomorrow) but the car is in spec now and looks great and pushed the top of the wheels back out next to the fender just right..,first thing i knoticed is the steering is tighter than a hair in a biskit .very solid with zero movement and does not feel like the same car,,i now realize just how bad the front suspention was ,,,car drives like a true sports car...and this is on bald tires. and i cant say enough about the poly bushings all cars should be riding on them makes the recoil very solid and absolutely no noise.,,,i didn't really push the car because of the tires they are just not safe ..but i have a appointment at the tire dealer to install the kuhmo's 8 am ,while they have them dismounted i will be getting some good pics of the bushings and new components that where put in ,after the tires are back on ,i will go out on one of my favorite crooked road and see where i'm at..., from what i can tell so far i have it where it needs to be.., im still tweakng the koni's the rears still dont feel quite right .... so its on we ...zoom zoom

That sounds great Howard. I had a feeling those poly bushings would make a hugh difference. Let us know how she goes with the new rubber.

Thought I would share my Saturday Tire Shop visit , I arrived at my appointment time , straight to the rack, car raised up and wheels removed . guy got the front tires mounted and balanced and back on the car , then moves to the rear mounts one of the rear tires on the wheel and moves it over to the balance machine . gets the last tire broken down and off the wheel , goes to mount last and . Presto it's a friggin 20 inch tire instead of a 19.. Nobody including myself noticed this and I walked around them 5 times checking out the tread design... and even helped carry them over to the machine . The owner , a great guy ( I have known for 40 yrs ) is freaking out and calls the distributor who is in Knoxville , and ask them what happened with the 19, thinking maybe it got dropped at another Store ... no luck he was only stop on the truck ,,,The guy in knox..pulled the wrong tire and nobody caught it,,,, ,, my dealer closes on saturday at 12 so they remount one of the old tires . back on the car. and I putt back home. Tire will be delivered on monday and installed tuesday..,, For some reason it did not bother me at all ,, normally I would be upset . .. but anyway from what little I drove the car on my way home .not aggressive the suspension feels absolutely awesome car stays true in the lane no pulling even when braking .. no drifting or wandering , I can't wait to take it out on the backroads and run some twisties and see how it handles ,,,, Maybe , next weekend ..... zoom zoom... come on spring...

Steve you hit the nail on the head ,no sense in getting upset over something you have no control over. actually my wife and I sat and laughed about it...she reminded me the tires where being handled and shipped on Friday the 13th .. One thing maybe you have some thoughts on , I still dont feel like my rear shocks are adjusted right ,,sometimes it feels like the car is diping in the rear like a shock is set too soft in other words the car does not feel planted in the rear when going into a sharp curv , like it squating ,,, clear as mud right ?

completely guessing here. how tight are the shocks adj? you have approx 2 full turns to play with. at the dragon i had mine cranked tight then backed off 1/2 turn. how much junk in the trunk? when i left the dragon with all the gear it added approx 100 lbs car felt like it was going to roll over! check the connecting link bushings. also tire pressure and the wavetrac made a drastic difference. any noise from the shocks? my first install i left one of the rubber bushings out and the car handled like crap. bumpstops cut? that way the shocks arent bottoming pout on the bumpstops and have full travel. clear as mud right!

Steve...hoiw Zen of you. But you are absolutely correct. Why waste time and energy getting pi$$ed off when it will do nothing to help the situation.

Of course, I'm the worst at doing this. Working at am "Institute of Higher Learning" I'm in a continuous state of agitation.

Howard, sorry to hear about this. I'm very much looking forward to hearing about your findings...and to keep everyones mind on track, I have a question:

Is the 1.3" rear drop that Eibach says, accurate? If I have 2 or 3 dot pads in the rear, and a gap of 2.75" now, I'll end up with a gap of 1.45".

Right? If this is the case, I wont look for (or ask for donations ) until I fit the rear springs and wait a week. Is this a reasonable course of action?

Old picture. 2008 OEM everything except tires and wheels.

Please open this picture in a new window and expand it. It still looks like this. It might give you guys enough info to make a guess for me.

Please let me know?

Steve I turned the shocks completely to the stiff side and backed it off 3/4 turn on all 4 wheels ,nothing in the trunk , and the bump stops where cut off leaving about 1/3 , all bushings where back in place as taken apart ..at one time i thought it may have been the road

Max I cut my Stock SRT springs I full coil and I am assuming that i have dot 2 on the front and dot3 on the rear but i didnt check them and i cant really see or feel the dots with everything in place . my car dropped 2 inches when we set it back on the ground ,, and since it has settled in it has dropped another 1/4 inch . i have zero experence with brand lowering springs such as you have . IMO you should install the springs with the number 2 front 3 rear and see what direction you need to go , I believe you said u purchased a spring tool to press the coils ,,so it wont be hard to make adjustments with pads....maybe Steve can shed some light ,,, or someone else that has used those kind...
