Confused no more!

Then I will have to make sure the lugnuts are conical, and the bolt part doesn't protrude past where the cap snaps on.
Keep us posted, I think it would be a worthwhile swap, especially with the locktite, I would think with some heat you could go back to OEM without needing new hubs, thoughts?

Sure. Cleaning of the threads after removal of the LokTite is no problem. It is, after all, made to be removable. Double nut-it to unscrew and use their solvent to remove.

I would not trust $0.89 studs with my life or anyone else's. These are made in China for sure and could be made from recycled rebar from the last new building to fall down or anything else they found laying around.

For ease of putting the wheels on Waldigs post will solve that.

You can even use a screw driver in the hole.

I line up the wheel slightly under the hub and slanted out and lower the jack until the wheel rolls on, sounds tricky but isn't, but saves your back with no lifting at all. With the wheel on just turn it until a bolt lines up.

check with Mad_Med.... he has them and they fit under his caps of his aftermarket wheels.... I dont know if he had it done or bought it that way though... I'll text him...

If you use red loctite you can undo the mod later with heat.... just dont use epoxy!

Seems simple enough, measure the overall length of your current bolts, compare the new nut length with the head of your bolt. Adjust to suit.

I find lining up with studs harder than what we have and what we have costs nothing, win win in my book. You always want to save a buck and here you are spending what you saved. LOL

Studs saw away on the wheel and scratch the back of the wheel.

Oh, and one of them HAS to be a security lugnut, one on each EXPENSIVE wheel/tire! I like this idea and will have to scope this out for lugnut (BALL seat) length.

Has anyone else done this before? What did you get for the length?
If you keep them the same length as the OEM lug bolts (including the head!), they should do the job.

H&r sells double ended studs.the nice part is they have an allen key on the part sticking out towards the wheel so you just have to buy 12mm x 1.5 male, put red loctite and a 12mm x 1.5 female on the other end.there 8.50 a piece.dont know bout using spacers with those ,Moroso doesnt recommend using spacers with its stud conversions.i agree with most people in saying that spacers and adapters are just compensations for having the wrong wheels.if all you want is convert,i did also the stocks are a pain to mount, mount and spin, lol.i tapped to 14mm x 1.5 to fix stripped threads from overtightning at tire shops and now am converting the studs and dont want any spacers to be honest.just bought a 18" x 9.5" for the rear with 35 series tires and am working out a 3" drop.want 18" x 8" with a 30 series in front with 3.5" drop.
