Default Replacing Brake Pads

It seems its time for the pads to get replaced on the Xfire and was just wondering since this will be its first pad change if theres any perticular brake pad i would need to buy.

If any generic pad will work then i got no problem.

Thanks

Hey there! If you want a top end set of pretty much dustless ceramic pads (as we all hate cleaning the brake dust), check out this post ( https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...c-pad-set.html ) about Centric Posi-Quiet Ceramic Pads I used. Check posts 11, 12, and 21 for a super easy job from cost of all the pads, to installation. Might be a good idea to read all the replies and also read a few more to get a few more views on how it went. I did my own and total cost was super inexpensive (for this car). Give it a shot, the manuals are available here for download, and simple tools are needed. Good Luck!

Look for ceramic pads that do not produce brake dust such as Rotex or Posi Quiet. GraphiteGhost already said it.
