Okay you fine forum peoples, time to vote
Some of you think I've gone mad, but I'm simply bored with the Mandrus wheels. Absolutely nothing wrong with them, just looking for a change.
With my Graphite paint, I want to run a dark wheel but I don't want it to look out of place with the silver body trim (which I intend to leave in place).
I've had my eye on a set of C63 AMG reps (JUL/TüV cert) that are gunmetal with polished ridges. A real looker, as I've seen these in person and I can get them in an 18/19 stagger. Price is a sweetheart, too. I've always loved a classic 5-spoke look, and you can actually see a lot of the Crossfire's body lines in the wheels (fender recess, anyone?). These will also be great at showing the nice pretty brakes in store for my car
Next at-bat, is the TSW Silverstone. It's quite similar to what I'm running (silver windows/machined face), but about 30% lighter and I really dig the 2-piece look. Also, the Silverstone has a 8" front wheel width (no more stretched 225's) and the rear wheel's lip is nice and deep (3" vs the 1.75" lip I have now). A multi-spoke wheel always looks exquisite on the Crossfire... They will be anything but subtle, but will be a classy look... and will certainly pop against the silver trim. Reminds me a lot of the Carlsson look...
Price between the two styles is a non-issue, as they're both cheap. AMG reps will certainly be easier to clean (and keep clean) but the Silverstone is lighter. C63 look is certainly more subdued... but sportier at the same time. Silverstone screams sporty elegance, which is a look the Crossfire is an expert in pulling off.
Pic below, thanks for your vote!

Agreed on all points, gentlemen.
Anyone want a cheap set of Wilhelms? They've technically been for sale for a while now, just rocking them on the car in the process.
My factory SRT wheels are for sale as well, I have two people interested but I need to post pics of those. Pics of the Wilhelms are in the sale thread...
SRT wheels will include tires, $700. If those sell first, I would be willing to off the Mandrus wheels for $600 (local pickup preferred)

+3 on the C63. And agreed, your big brakes will pop w/ those. They look good on MikeR's, but they'd probably look better on a SSB.

The reps I'm considering offer better offset choice and the ability to run the 18/19 stagger.
I'm not a big fan of either of those choices. Personally I'd get a set of what Les is sporting (forgot the name).
Here's a set a bling's I saw on the local Craigslist: Rims 5X112

Les is running Forgestar F14. I agree that they're beautiful, and lightweight. But there are a few things keeping me from Forgestar....
- Finish quality. Every person I've seen order these, here and on MB-World, has had issues with the finish being "good" at best. Fish-eye, pitting, runs, etc have all been noted.
- Lead time. It took one guy on MB-World EIGHT WEEKS to receive his first set after payment. These come from China. Forgestar is a division of I-Forged which has always had quality/service gripes. One of those was blemished, and it took nearly two additional months before they rectified the situation. When he received his fourth wheel, it didn't match the paint on the other three

- Price. While it's true you can get 'custom' offsets, you still must order centering rings. To me, that's a wheel that requires modification to run. If I'm shelling out $450 EACH, I want the things to be tailor-made for the car. If I have to run supplemental equipment to make them work, I may as well order TSW wheels (which also offers the same rotary-forged technology, and same weights) for 45% less money, and use H&R spacers and have the ability to play with my offsets post-purchase, for a truly perfect stance.
Very much the same reason I did not go with a 'custom' wheel, John, and the 5 spoke, open/airy AMG reps look so good with the brakes done nicely
And at these prices, if something happens, you can replace the wheel and not have to take a second mortgage on the house...
